Bagpipe Tutors
Mark McNoe
is Pipe
Sergeant of the City of Dunedin
Pipe band and has played in several
world class
pipeband's, including competing at the World Pipeband
Championships
in 2005 with New Zealand’s premiere
Grade One Pipeband, the Manawatu Scottish Society
Pipeband. Mark has
been tutoring pipers for 10 years
and specialises in D to A Grade
Soloists.

Mary Bedwell
is an active
member of the City of Dunedin
Scotia pipe band. Mary has been piping for
10 years and
continues to compete in Solo competition. Mary specialises
in tutoring adult beginner pipers.
Richard Cox is
an active member of the City of
Dunedin Pipe Band. Richard is an experienced solo
competitor and specialises in teaching Stage 1 and
Stage 2 students.
Liam Kernaghan is
an active member of the City of
Dunedin Pipe Band. Liam is an experienced solo
competitor and specialises in teaching Stage 1 and
Stage 2 students.
Gordon Watson is
an active member of the City of
Dunedin Scotia Pipe Band. Originally from Scotland,
Gordon has had extensive experience in a variety of top
Scottish pipebands. Gordon
specialises in tutoring
adult Stage 1 & Stage 2 pipers.
Drumming Tutors
Anna Lindsay is
Drum Sergeant for the City of
Dunedin Scotia Pipeband. Anna has been a snare
drummer for over 20 years and
specialises in
teaching Stage 1 and Stage 2 students.
Jon Laird is
an active member of the City of
Dunedin Scotia Pipe Band. Jon specialises in
teaching Stage 1 Snare Drummers.
Cheryl Thomson is
an active member of the City of
Dunedin Scotia Pipe Band. Cheryl specialises in
teaching Stage 1 Bass and Tenor Drummers.
